March 6th, 2023
This a reminder that RMAE does have school on Friday March 17th, unlike some of the neighborhood Jeffco schools. March 17th is a regular school day at RMAE.
A note from Dr Hudson:
Dear RMAE families,
With March’s arrival, we have many events coming up. Last year’s book swap was such a success, it is now an annual event. All students are encouraged to donate between 1 and 5 books they have read in exchange for selecting ones they haven’t. The hope is all students go home with at least one new book they can dive into during Spring Break. Students may bring books in good condition and at their level this week. Each student will receive a ticket (up to 5) for each book in good condition donated. They will exchange the ticket for a new to them book next Monday or Tuesday during the Book Swap. Many thanks for our PTO and amazing parent volunteers who are making this event possible.
After Spring Break our students in grades 3-8 will be showing off what they know on the State CMAS assessment. The results are what the state uses for our accreditation. In addition, student academic growth is a priority for RMAE and having this data helps us support that effort. Here is more information.
Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Ann Hudson
