Important save the date:

Jeffco Charter School Consortium will be hosting a school board candidate forum on Wednesday, Sept. 27th, 6:30 to 8 PM at Addenbrooke Classical Academy. This forum will be the only school board forum focused solely on charter school issues so it is very important our parents attend.  Two seats will be on the Nov. 7th ballot. While directors must reside within a specific director boundary, the entire county votes on candidates in each of the director districts.

Ms Glaser's Math Counts elective was hard at work with Mr Short who volunteers to help every week.
Kinder Buddies Middle School Elective helped the Kindergarteners with their human body projects and with their reading last week.
A big thank you to all that took the time to fill out the required annual update forms. If you did not complete the annual registration update, Ms Renken will be reaching out to you via email to help get this completed.  This is an important part of working with the school this year and is required by Jeffco.
The new STAMP newsletter came out this week. We are still working out the kinks on how to get you that information as seamlessly as possible. If anyone missed it you can see it HERE The links were not working in the original email, we apologize for the inconvenience.  If you want to access them you will be able to here.
A message from Mrs Johnson, AP

We want to inform you of a recent decision around our lunchtime routines.  Starting, September 6th, we will be implementing a policy where our staff will not be microwaving food during the lunch hours for kindergarten through 5th grade students.  These students are also prohibited from using the microwave on their own.  This decision is based on several factors, including the young age of these students and the well-being of our students.  This decision will help us maintain safety and efficiency in the lunchroom since our Educational Assistants can be focused on the students instead of microwaving food.  We kindly request your support and understanding as we implement this policy.
The Next PTO meeting is September 19th 3:30 in the Den.
PAWSS (parents at work for safety and security) interest PIzza Party September 21st 5pm.

This particular volunteer position is vital in keeping our students safe while in school and on campus. At RAME, we do not have a school resource officer nor formal security, so we rely on parents to assist in staff and student safety.

We currently have 3 shifts that we encourage you to volunteer for, a drop off / morning, lunch / afternoon and just before pick up / evening shift. The morning and evening shifts are one hour and the lunch shift is 15 minutes long.

Please go to A to Z and click on the PAWSS link where you will be guided to the sign up calendar. Don't forget to log your hours as well.
Family Fun Night is almost here ! Thursday September 14th. Join us for a Ninja Gym, Go Karts,  hotdogs and hamburgers and slife's shaved ice and much more! All proceeds will help the PTO fund different school initiatives this year.

Ninja Nation WAIVERS will be required for all participants.
POSTPONED-due to unforeseen circumstances the PTO needs to postpone bingo until a later date. details will be sent when we have them. Thank you for your understanding.
RMAE Parents, the next School board meeting is on Sept 14th at 6:30 p.m., the same night as Family Fun night.  We encourage you to join us in the upstairs Den community room.  It is a great way to learn more about RMAE.

August's board meeting focused on a review of the strong financials, summer facility improvements, and the various committee needs for the school year.

If you are looking for a way to engage with the board, joining a committee can be a great way to start.  Email Scott Jones, [email protected], if you are interested in learning more about the following committees: Marketing, School Accountability Committee, Policy and Bylaws, Facilities, Fundraising/Capital Campaign.
