In light of World Kindness Day on November 13th, Kindergarten was lucky enough to have Mrs. Jones, the school counselor, come read and talk to us about kindness. We also took what we learned from Mrs. Jones and applied it to a lesson on friendship. We wrote and colored a picture for someone special in the class and then made a friendship snack! We talked about 5 traits of a good friend and had each trait match a certain treat. We then added the ingredients together and gobbled it all up! Now our bodies are FULL of all that we need to be amazing friends!
1st grade made constellations using mini marshmallows and toothpicks during their Sun, Moon, and Stars unit.

Hello! I'm Lennon Greenbaum and an 8th grader at RMAE. I am currently preparing for my Bar Mitzvah, which includes completing a “mitzvah project.” A mitzvah project is a community-based task that is focused on helping others. The focus of my mitzvah project is to help the Afghan Refugee Crisis. The main part of my project is to complete a nest-a-home opportunity with the African Community Center for an incoming Afghan Refugee family who is resettling in the Denver area. This means collecting all the items needed to furnish the family’s new apartment and then helping them move in.

I am seeking support from my community. Here is how you can help:
  • Sign up to make a donation of a specific item (they can be new or gently used).
  • Make a cash donation towards purchasing items (Venmo: @autumn-krauss. Paypal: @autumnkrauss).
Donations of goods or cash will count as charitable contributions and be tax deductible with appropriate documentation provided upon request.
If you have any questions, you can contact me at 720-724-5939 or adk@autumnkrauss.com
Thank you for your consideration and support!
