Wit and Wisdom:
We are now studying space. Mainly working with why Galileo studied the stars and putting events in chronological order, writing conclusion paragraphs, and finding the essential meaning of a text. We will be moving into our next arc which is how did the astronauts on Apollo 11 learn about space. We have also been writing opinion essays.
Math:
Chapter 11 is about perimeter and area.
Science:
We are now studying habitats. Students will learn about adaptations to living things, changing ecosystems and the effect humans have on ecosystems. They will also learn about how fossils are made.
Social Studies:
We are now studying the Earliest Americans. We will learn about Native American tribes such as the Navajo, Inuit, Pueblo, and Mound Builders. Students will learn about Beringia and how people came to settle in North America.
