Dear RMAE Families
|
Thank you to our community for continuing to be conservative and cautious by keeping your child(ren) home when not feeling well. As a reminder, students who don’t feel well enough to participate in-person, may log in to the classroom zoom and participate remotely. Please let the office know if you will be exercising this option so we can adjust attendance accordingly.
Another note that is remote learning related. RMAE follows Jeffco Schools when snow/inclement weather days are called. Moving forward Jeffco, and RMAE, will no longer close school due to weather, poor travel conditions, or other urgent issues. Instead, Jeffco will announce “district-wide remote days” either the night before or by 6am the morning of the event. If this occurs, students will log into their google classroom and follow the “Remote Learning Plan” listed under classwork. The remote learning plan includes times of live instruction with links as well as assignments. Please contact your child(ren)’s teacher(s) with questions.

- Shovel Crew
If you are able to help Mr. Wellman clear paths, walkways and stairs around campus on school mornings when we have more that 2 inches of accumulation, it would be greatly appreciated!
- Mulch Spreading Crew
We had a new pile of mulch delivered to the school and are looking for parents to help spread it in the playground. Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrow and gloves are needed to complete the job. Please email twellman@rmae.org if you are able to help with this task.

Trail Running Club with Ms Adams
Starts November 5th
Have your student join Ms Adams every Thursday after school from 3:30-4:30 PM. Learn how to pace yourself, navigate the trail, and get in great shape! Check out the FLYER for details!

OCT 30- School wide Free Dress. Student Halloween Costume Policy:
- All may wear costumes that are appropriate in content and coverage
- Students are not to bring their costume accessories. Absolutely no weapon related item will be allowed
- Students may wear a hat only if it is an integral part of their costume
- No makeup or other appearance altering is allowed
- Temporary change in hair color allowed only if it is integral to the costume.
- Masks for COVID must still be worn

This is the database that we rely on to contact you for general and emergency purposes. Please ensure that you have provided both parents and/or guardians complete information as well as one emergency contact in the Jeffco connect system.
