2nd graders Rowan, Miriam, Keely and Camille showing off their awesome artistic abilities in Spanish in regard to Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing a local Hispanic artist, Emmanuel Martinez. The iconic mural called “Shades” or “Confluent People” helped shape our young artists’ creative minds into recreating their own version of Shades. Emmanuel Martinez was the first artist to start painting murals in downtown Denver and his murals can be found at Speer Boulevard and Little Raven Street

It's Giving Apple Time!

Each fall, the PTO coordinates a campaign for the staff that allows them to ask for items for their learning spaces that are outside of traditional classroom budgets. This year we are putting these requests in a live document sign up. Click on the link above to open the document and explore ways you can contribute to your students classroom and school. Items will be presented to teachers and staff in mid October.

Our sincerest thanks for participating in our annual Giving Apple campaign.

Every donation is meaningful!

Help on Campus- The Facilities Manager, Mr Wellman, has a couple of volunteer opportunities available around campus- pickup trash along the road and filling the sand buckets in preparation for the next snow event. If you are available to help with either of these tasks please call the office to arrange a time.

The main role of the PTO President is to be the the team leader, who keeps the team on track and serves as the liaison to the school office and board of directors. The president makes sure our events and fundraisers run smoothly. Tiffany says " I promise this job is not nearly as daunting as it first may seem and it is beyond rewarding, I will work alongside you for this unique transition."
