About Mrs. Gutierrez
Hi there! My name is Haley Gutierrez, and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at RMAE again this year! This is my 3rd year of teaching primary, and I subbed in Jeffco and Clear Creek for the three years prior. I have my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts (Photography) from MSU Denver, and my Masters of Teaching & Learning from CSU Global.
My husband and I both grew up in Evergreen, and we currently live here with our 6-year-old son, Cayden, our 3-month-old daughter, Charlee, and two dogs, Oscar and Bella. In our free time, we like to camp, off-road, and paddle board, and in the winter, we snowboard!
I can't wait to get to know you all and your families!
About Mrs. Park
Hello! I am so excited to be able to teach your children this year and be a part of the RMAE family!
I grew up in South Dakota and have lived in Minnesota as well as Switzerland, but I call Colorado my home. I have a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University in finance and marketing, which led to a career in the banking industry before I made the switch to education. While in banking I was asked to teach a Junior Achievement class (financial literacy program), and immediately knew that teaching was the career for me! Recently I have spent a few years teaching Jr. Kindergarten as well as K-8 substitute teaching in Jeffco (including RMAE!). I am currently in the very final steps of obtaining my master’s degree in elementary education from Regis University and will graduate in just a few months.
My husband and I have four children ranging from 5th grade to high school senior. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my children do what they love most (lacrosse, soccer, basketball, theater), and I also spend time reading, biking, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing – all things Colorado!
I love teaching children and am so thrilled to be a part of your child’s learning journey at RMAE!
