4th Grade/Technology/Makerspace - Fourth grade is getting ready for Ancient China day.  They are building screens to create paper on a screen as they did in Ancient China. This activity also taught students how much goes into making paper that we use everyday.

7th Grade
- Earlier this week, in seventh grade we had a tea and reading day. Students brought mugs and tea, I supplied the hot water. We put on the Netflix fireplace and got to work reading! It was a relaxing and productive way to spend a Monday morning.  Students are required to read a least one book of their own choosing every quarter.  This was time for them to get caught up on reading before we start our Dr. Jekyll and Hyde unit.

Gardening Elective
- We made terrariums today to house succulents! Students brought in glass jars and gardening provided the rocks, soil, and succulents (funding provided by the generous donor of the Home Depot gift card). After planting and assembling, students were then able to decorate their jars with all kinds of fun items. It was a great day!
